In a highly contested triangular the U16's A team felt positive heading into the fixture, after previous positive performances against Brighton College and Ardingly.
The team faced Eastbourne 2nd XI and 3rd XI in a triangular. The team played a very strong thirty minutes, possibly the best half so far this term. However the team couldn't convert all the chances created. Thankfully A.Topping converted a chance in the second quarter to go in 1-1 at the half.
In the second half the team started slow and unfortunately made some crucial errors to concede two girls in the third quarter but the fight within the team is undeniable. In Q4 the team created several huge chances in which K.Wienekus snuck one under the opposition GK. The pressure continued and the team had a short corner on the full time whistle in which Eastbourne stood strong and the end result ended 3-2.
Great performance from the team just couldn't get over the line.
