The U14B team, with 2 A team players were keen to get stuck into a Mayfield A team this weekend. After a slow start going 5-0 down in the first few minutes, the girls turned it up and got into the game. At the end of the 1st quarter Roedean were down by 4, the goal of the next quarter was to close the gap to 2 and progressively take hold of the game. The second quarter went a little better and we managed to get 1 behind before Mayfield surged 3 up at the end. In the 3rd quarter Mayfield pulled away again and the girls played some good netball but just struggled to convert turned over possession into points. The final quarter we managed to win but was in vain as the game ended 25-20 to Mayfield. A very good game considering only having two A-Team players and playing against Mayfield A-team.
