Roedean School Girls-U12A vs  Brighton and Hove Schools Swimming Championships

Roedean Swimming Team had a fantastic performance at the Brighton and Hove Senior Schools Swimming Championships held at the Prince Regent Pool, Brighton. First up was 50m backstroke. All Roedean girls had strong starts and managed to maintain a strong pace throughout. Roedean girls Tayla, H. India, B & Gracie B resulted in 2nd place in their individual race. In the 4 x 25m relay both our Junior and Senior teams managed to come 1st and 2nd which is brilliant as they demonstrated quick change overs and showed true speed when performing. 50m breaststroke was the next event whereby all individuals demonstrated resilience and brilliant technique throughout. Well done to Mollie, T who managed to come 1st. Rose, O 3rd place and Josie, F 2nd. 4 x 25m relay was up next whereby we had strong teams in both Junior and Senior enabling us to come consistently 1st and 2nd place. The results were looking close between ourselves and Cardinal Newman. However, the last 2 events of the evening were 50m Freestyle. All girls performed fantastically! Holly, G, Rania, K & Liv, H came 1st and the 8 x 25m relay our girls positioned 1st which was superb! Overall, Roedean won the trophy of the Brighton & Hove Senior Schools Swimming Championships Girls Secondary Schools. This is a brilliant success and all the girls should be proud of their achievements! A huge well done to the following girls: Holly, G., Jamie O, Mollie, T, Talya H., Rosa, F,.
